Transforming your master bedroom into a private sanctuary, the New Forest four poster bed brings the quiet grandeur of a luxury boutique hotel straight into your home. Standing at full traditional height, it uses tall timber posts to anchor the space with a sense of scale, warmth, and permanent calm. Rather than overwhelming the bedroom, its clean vertical lines draw the eye upward, celebrating your room's proportions and filling the space with an unmistakable feeling of sanctuary.
Handcrafted entirely from 100% solid hardwood, every detail of the frame is crafted to showcase the raw integrity of real lumber. Its defining signature is the four square corner posts that rise neatly past the top connecting beams, giving the bed a crisp, architectural profile. while the solid wood backboard displays a sweeping, uninterrupted run of natural organic grain — providing a firm, supportive backrest for reading late into the night. The heavy-gauge top rails can also hold flowing sheer drapes to help softly diffuse morning light.
Beyond its striking aesthetic, the New Forest bed is built for practical everyday living and engineered to endure for generations. Raised at standard bed height on solid hardwood legs, it leaves generous open clearance underneath for sliding storage boxes discreetly out of sight, keeping your room peaceful and clutter-free. The rock-solid timber joinery eliminates squeaks and frame movement, creating a completely silent, restorative foundation.

Personalize your bed design
We offer 4 distinct leg styles for most beds (depending on the design these may not always be an option). Changing the leg style uniquely transforms the appearance and is your personal choice with no change in structural integrity. The curved option is a popular option to help avoid bumping toes, which is especially helpful in smaller bedroom spaces.
What makes our beds so unique ?
Buying a "wooden" bed is a sustainable choice. Our softwoods are always sourced from responsibly managed forests that meet strict sustainability standards.

You may have been led to believe that sprung slats are better? Let us tell you why this is misleading and incorrect.
Twice as thick & wide as the average bed slat with each and every slat being individually screwed in position for extra durability.
A premium product can be affordable if you buy direct from the manufacturer. Without the middlemen, there's extra savings.
Buy once and be reassured your bed will stand the test of time. We spend about 1/3 of our lives in bed, so it must be built to last.

Shop MattressesYes. Buying a “wooden” bed is already a sustainable choice due to the fact that nearly all our timber is sourced from sustainable suppliers where the forests are re-planted. As a company, we are very passionate about the environment and strive to lower our carbon footprint, with such efforts as only using 100% renewable electricity and providing electric car charging points in our car park. We also work with the International Tree Foundation (ITF) to plant new trees in Africa to support local communities. You can also donate to this effort on the checkout and our live tree counter is shown at the top of the website.
Yes, always, as every bed is handcrafted to order so this is never an issue. Our manufacturing process is very unique. However we do charge a premium for speed as it’s a bit more complicated, so do check our delivery calendar.
